BrickworkProject overview
For this project, a damaged section of a front garden boundary wall was carefully repaired and rebuilt. Over time the brickwork had become loose, cracked and structurally unsafe, with sections beginning to collapse. The work included taking down the failed brickwork, clearing away the old mortar and rubble, preparing a solid base and rebuilding the wall course by course using matching bricks to keep the original character.
Special attention was given to the brick bonding, level lines, mortar joints and the coping detail along the top of the wall, making sure the repaired section tied in neatly with the existing brickwork. The finished wall is once again strong, safe and tidy, restoring both the security and the appearance of the property frontage.
